Mulch Time
Our Team Nutrition & Green Team students worked hard after school today laying down landscaping fabric & mulch to kill off the grass. We covered ~ 1/3 of the future garden space. There is still more hard work ahead of us!

Wayne Metropolitan Community Action Agency Site Visit
Karen Salomone (Nutrition Program Assistant) from Wayne Metropolitan Community Action Agency was our visitor on Tuesday. Karen and Amy toured our future garden site and took soil samples. Jen Rusciano (FoodCorps Service Member) walked around with our visitors taking notes and suggestions.
